Edward Raha

Edward Raha has over 40 years of experience in portfolio management, financial modeling, and designing investment strategies for the fixed income, equity and commodity markets.

Mr. Raha has spent his career identifying and applying systematic investment strategies to the financial markets. He has managed creative research teams that have identified investment opportunities, and he designed many alpha harvesting processes.

Prior to forming QSS, Mr. Raha was President of Berkeley Quantitative, an Investment Adviser with offices in San Francisco, Palo Alto and the NYC area. Here he collaborated with Berkeley’s Dr. Elwyn Berlekamp to build a firm dedicated to applying curiosity-driven research to the financial markets.

Mr. Raha also served as the President of Managed Quantitative Advisors, where he implemented a long / short equity program designed to identify and invest in undervalued equities.

He received a B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and an M.B.A degree in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
